More About the Havit Fuxi-H7

The five connection modes are the reason most people choose the Fuxi-H7 over a simpler wireless headset. The two 2.4GHz modes — one using a USB-A dongle, one using USB-C — cover PC and modern consoles without an adapter. Bluetooth 5.2 handles mobile devices and casual listening away from the desk. USB wired and 3.5mm AUX round it out for situations where wireless is not practical or the battery is flat. Having all five on one headset means it works across every device in a typical gaming setup without carrying separate headphones.

On 2.4GHz wireless, the rated latency is 28ms. For context, most competitive gaming monitors have a 1ms response time and most human reaction times are in the 150–250ms range — so 28ms is well below the threshold where audio lag becomes perceptible during gameplay. Bluetooth 5.2 latency is higher, as it is with all Bluetooth audio, which is why the 2.4GHz mode exists specifically for gaming.

The 40mm drivers carry a built-in 7.1 virtual surround chip. Virtual surround on headphones uses digital signal processing to simulate directional audio — it is not the same as true physical multichannel surround, but on games that support it the effect helps with locating footsteps, gunshots, and environmental cues by direction. Whether you prefer it on or off is personal — some players find it helpful, others prefer standard stereo.

The earpads use breathable cloth and cotton rather than leatherette. In Bangladesh's climate, leatherette earpads retain heat quickly during long sessions. Cloth dissipates heat better and does not develop the sweaty seal that makes extended gaming uncomfortable. The microphone is detachable and uses ENC (Electronic Noise Cancellation) at -42dB sensitivity. The 750mAh battery gives up to 18 hours on a single charge, with USB-C refilling it in about 2 hours.
