9H is the highest rating on the pencil hardness scale used to classify tempered glass screen protectors — above it, only industrial sapphire glass exists. At this hardness, the protector resists scratching from keys, coins, metal pen nibs, and everyday pocket contents that would visibly mark softer glass or film protectors. The 50kg pressure resistance rating means the glass distributes and absorbs significant impact force before fracturing — protecting the iPad display beneath from the crack or shatter that would otherwise require a full display replacement.

The UltraFit tray is a hard alignment frame that holds the protector in the exact correct position over the iPad display before the adhesive makes contact. Built-in dust removal technology clears microscopic particles from the screen surface during the installation process — the primary cause of bubbles and trapped dust specs under DIY screen protector applications. The result is a perfectly aligned, completely bubble-free installation in seconds, without any prior experience or careful manual positioning.

At 0.33mm, the Armorite adds no perceptible thickness to the display edge and introduces no visible colour shift, haze, or reduction in brightness. The glass is optically clear — not anti-glare or matte — preserving the iPad Air's display colour accuracy and contrast as-designed. Touch sensitivity remains unchanged for finger input, and the surface is calibrated for Apple Pencil tip tracking without introducing lag, drift, or reduced pressure sensitivity compared to the bare glass display.

The Armorite is explicitly tested and confirmed compatible with both the Apple Pencil (USB-C) and the Apple Pencil Pro — the two Pencil models compatible with the iPad Air 11-inch M2, M3, and M4. Pencil compatibility on a screen protector means the glass surface texture, capacitive transmission, and thickness do not degrade tip tracking accuracy, tilt sensitivity, or pressure response. A precise camera cutout maintains unobstructed access to the front camera for FaceTime without the vignetting that an imprecise cutout introduces.

The box contains two complete Armorite screen protectors and two full cleaning kits — giving you an immediate replacement unit without a second purchase when the first protector reaches end of life from accumulated surface scratches. For iPad users who keep devices for two or more years, the 2 Pack is the practical choice: the second unit is available the moment the first needs replacing, without waiting for delivery or paying a premium for an urgent single-unit purchase.
