A dedicated UV-C lamp purifies the water inside the tank before it is atomized. Bacteria are killed at the source so the mist dispersed into your room is clean rather than carrying whatever was living in the water. Particularly valuable in humid climates where bacterial growth in standing water is accelerated.

The large tank eliminates the need for multiple daily refills — one fill in the evening covers overnight and most of the following day. Top-fill design means you add water directly from above without removing the tank or moving the unit; just open the top, pour, and continue.

At 350 mL/h, the MJJSQ05DY humidifies medium to large rooms quickly with ultra-fine water droplets that disperse evenly without leaving wet surfaces. More effective than lower-output units for spaces like living rooms, open-plan offices, or larger bedrooms.

Connect to the Mi Home App via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to adjust mist intensity, set daily schedules, define target humidity levels, and monitor real-time conditions from your phone. Works with other Xiaomi smart home devices through the same app ecosystem.

Built-in humidity sensors continuously read the room. Auto Mode adjusts the mist output in real time to hold the environment at approximately 60% relative humidity — the level recommended for respiratory comfort, skin hydration, and preventing damage to wooden furniture and musical instruments.

Two manually rotatable mist rings can be pointed in any direction, providing whole-room coverage without repositioning the unit. At ≤38 dB, the humidifier is quieter than a typical library environment — suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, and shared sleeping spaces without disturbing sleep.
